General Committee
The Club elects a General Committee of eight to ten members each March at the Annual General Meeting. The General Committee for 2013/14 is:

Phil is Chief Executive Officer an International Real Estate Group, which has been operating in the Asia-Pacific region and the UK for many years. The Synergy Global Property Alliance specialises in International Real Estate Brokerage, Restructuring and Corporate Recovery activities and has offices in Europe, the USA and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Phil has been an active Member of the British Club since 2004 and has been Chairman of the Balut Section since 2007, Honorary Treasurer of the British Club and Chairman of the Treasury Work Group 2010-12, and is now Chairman of the General Committee. |

Paul has been a Club Member since 1999 and has been Honorary Secretary from 2000-2003, 2006-2008 and again since 2010. He was also Vice-Chairman in 2001-2003. Paul also authors ‘Past Participle’ in the Outpost magazine. Paul worked in the UK for the Boots Company and served two terms as a London Borough Councillor. In 1996 he was headhunted by Shell and worked in ten countries across Asia based in Bangkok. Paul retired in 2004. In 2005 Paul was elected as an Honorary Alderman of the London Borough of Southwark where he still keeps a home. |

Bill has lived in Thailand over 20 years over two periods, first coming here in 1983 when he joined the BC. Married to Churairat, Bill has worked in the shipping industry for some 30 years in various parts of the world, and here was MD of two separate shipping agency companies. Bill enjoys playing some golf and hopes to help move the BC forward for the Members' benefit. |

Sulindy Collacott General Committee Sulindy was born in Thailand and raised in the UK. As a qualified GIA gemmologist, she worked in the diamond trade in London before relocating to Thailand in 2008 to work for an Italian jewellery company. Sulindy also does voluntary work for an international soccer school in Bangkok, and joined the Club in 2010. She is very competitive and as an ex-black belt in karate and other martial arts, her current target is to become the top player in Balut! Sulindy enjoys travelling, horse-riding and reading books, her favourite genre being historical biographies. |

Peter retired from the Royal Australian Navy in 1988 and first came to Thailand in December 1990 for two years, then returned to Bangkok in 1997 as Group Director of ACA Pacific Group, an IT Distribution Company specialising in network security. He was chairman of the Squash Section in 1991-1992 and again from 1997 to the present. Peter served on the GC in 1999-2000 and again in 2005-2006. Peter was initially a very active tennis and squash player but due to the ravages of time now mainly plays golf. |

Warwick was born and educated in Australia. National Service in the RAAF and commissioned as an officer serving in the Vietnam campaign. Hired by Clarks Shoes Australia in 1970 to undergo management training in Somerset, England for three years. Lasted twenty three years: a slow learner. Two years in South Africa as MD of the company’s subsidiary. In 1993 embarked on a career as an independent consultant in the footwear manufacturing industry and lived and worked in another eight countries. Hired by NIKE Inc as Product Director in Vietnam and Thailand. Retired to Bangkok in 2007. Pursuits: refining the art of living as a retired gentleman of leisure. |

David joined the British Club in 1993. Works in his own company, YES Technologies, as a software designer and consultant. Held the position of Chairman of the British Club General Committee for two years, 2003-2005 and was a Director on the Board of The British Chamber of Commerce Thailand for five years, from 2000 to 2004, serving as Vice-Chairman for two years 2003-2004. Enjoys cycling, Twitter, good food and photography. |

John is founder and Managing Director of Northgrow and is also involved in various entrepreneurial ventures and an angel investment group. John has lived in Thailand since 1997 and has been an active Member of the British Club since that time. John captains the Thai Stix ball hockey team and also is an avid golfer and squash player. John has served on the board of Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce for many years and is currently Vice President. He is married to Kay. |

Australian born and having lived in New Zealand for many years, Chris has been a Club Member since 2000. Working as a graphic designer and prior to that in architecture, Chris is a keen photographer having contributed many photos to the Club magazine. An active Club Tennis Section member, he has served on the Tennis Section committee several times. Chris was also the Vice-Chairman of the General Committee 2011-2013. |
