The Verandah is a light contemporary café/restaurant which makes an excellent venue for a business lunch, is superb for family dining in the evening and is famous for its Sunday Brunch. It provides an air-conditioned environment which opens out to a patio providing seating amongst the trees and bushes and allowing children to play on the back lawn.
Beers The Verandah boasts eight draught beers:
Wines & Spirits We have 11 house wines available by the glass or by the bottle and our wine list is updated quarterly with the best value available in the Thai market including some special value sparkling wines for that special occasion. We have a wide range of spirits – vodkas, gins, whiskies and whiskeys, Bourbons, Tennessee to name a few - and are always willing to add your favourite if available in Thailand.
Food Our Western menu has over a hundred dishes from snacks to soups, from starters to steaks – in addition there is always a Daily Special, a Healthy Special, a number of Monthly Specials and, Monday to Friday, a special Business Luncheon. As you would expect we also have an extensive Thai menu – with over a hundred dishes – all cooked from the freshest ingredients from our local market ... there is even a Thai Lunch Special Monday to Friday. Food is served in The Verandah until 9.30pm.
News & Internet The Churchill Bar and The Verandah between them hold copies of the Bangkok Post and The Nation newspapers, together The Times, The Guardian, The Financial Times and the Daily Mail with The Observer on Sundays and the entire Club is wired up for Wi-Fi.
Hours The Verandah is open from 11am to 2pm and again 5pm to 10pm on Monday to Thursday and from 11am to 10pm Fridays to Sundays and Public Holidays. Happy Hour is from 5pm to 7.30pm every day and food can be ordered until 9.30pm. |
