On Sunday 3rd June 2012, the Club opened its grounds to those wishing to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the accession to the throne of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with a Diamond Jubilee Fête.  There were nearly 70 tables of stalls, pony rides, kids activities, games, Clown Eckie, a raffle, a Jubilee cake, and a host of other fun, making the day an unqualified success.  The British Ambassador, H.E. Asif Ahmad, introduced the Bangkok Music Society Choir, who sang His Majesty the King of Thailand's anthem followed by the U.K. National Anthem, and then led the assembled crowds in a toast of loyalty to Her Majesty's reign and her continued good health.

The event succeeded in bringing hundreds of people to the Club for the first time and many others who were Members, friends, families or associates of those participating in the afternoon.  As evening fell, the band Vertigo played many favourites as well as golden oldies, and a large screen projector showed the London Jubilee Barge celebration. The revellers continued until after midnight.

The event was recorded by Capital TV, the independent and well-known producer of Destination Thailand and other programmes which are aired on the ASEAN channel of True Visions and appear in major hotels around Thailand.
