The British Club Badminton section offers a weekly Badminton Mix-in to all British Club members every Sunday 11am to 1pm. As we do not have the required badminton courts in our club, our weekly meeting takes place at the nearby Nares Badminton court, which is located right behind the Bangrak Police Station.
The badminton court is booked for British Club players from 11am to 1 pm every Sunday. Only one badminton court is booked regularly. In case more players show up and one court can not give all players enough time to play on, we will rent extra courts to satisfy the need. Players at all skill levels are welcome.
All Adult players will be charged 70 Baht for each attendance. Children under 16 will be charged half price. Shuttlecocks are provided for all badminton games at no extra cost, but all players should bring their own rackets. The Nares Badminton court management does not allow visitors to bring in any foods or drinks from outside. Various kinds of soft drinks can be purchased from the soft drink counter operated by the Badminton court.
Players are also advised to wear proper clothing and shoes that will not cause damage to the court facilities. All visitors are required to clean their shoes at the entrance before entering the Badminton court.
British Club members who are interested to participate in our Sunday Badminton Mix-in can show up at the Club before 10:45 am and join our regular players to walk to the Nares Badminton Court. All players participating in the Mix-in will have their names and Club membership numbers recorded upon their arrival at the Badminton court and the attendance record will be presented to the British Club management at the end of each month for the billing procedure.
