The British Club has a very active Cricket Section playing a full programme of cricket throughout the year across all formats of the game. It currently plays in the competitive A Division of the Bangkok Cricket League; RBSC T20 Invitational League; organises at least three tours a season including a beach cricket tournament on Koh Chang; 6 a-side ‘Fireball’ indoors-rules cricket at the Club; various 6-a-side and 8-a-side tournaments and a number of other social matches.

The British Club provides an attractive covered floodlit practice net on the Back Lawn plus a Multi Purpose Court where the 6-a-side indoor rules games are played. League matches and all other cricket matches are currently played at grounds around Bangkok and Thailand.

The British Club team is competitive and ambitious, but the emphasis is very much on enjoyment. We currently have players from Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. The squad is one big family, getting together socially after matches and practices of course, but also in between. Partners and kids  are an important part of the Section and make us even more international by adding French, Italian, Nepalese and Russian to the mix.

British Club members of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join the Cricket Section, which entitles participation in all activities for 500-Baht/ year and 100 Baht/month for unlimited use of the cricket nets. Regular practice net sessions are held at the club Thursdays at 6.30 pm and Saturdays at 2:30pm when there is no match fixture.
